Top 5 Mama Must-Haves!

Baby expos can definitely be overwhelming, but so much fun. I love walking around and exploring adorable boutique gear, finding out what's new and innovative for littles, and of course snagging freebies and entering giveaways!

This past weekend Oliver and I checked out the Chicago Baby Show at Navy Pier, and below are our top 5 favorite baby show finds:

1. Modern Eternity- Military Style Jacket

This stylish jacket is a 3-in-1 addition to your wardrobe- thanks to a genius removal panel design! It is very simple to transform this jacket into a "baby-in, baby-out, or baby-free" option; aka during pregnancy, while baby-wearing, and without any baby at all. I am in love with their military jacket (pictured to the right) since fall is around the corner, but I would also highly recommend checking out their rain jackets and winter coat options!

2. Greentom- Greentom Reversible Stroller

Looking for a light-weight, multi-functional stroller that is made completely out of recycled materials? Look no further! I was incredibly impressed with Greentom's reversible stroller at the expo due to it's minimalist style, ability to transform into 5 different positions (including flat, reverse-facing, and forward facing options), portability, and sustainability. I couldn't believe that by using the Reversible stroller, you recycle 51 drinking bottles and 16.5lbs of recycled plastic! You can even make this stroller your own by choosing your own frame and fabric color. The stroller pictured was my favorite look!

3. 4Moms- Mamaroo

As a new mom living in the city, it has been important to me from the start to limit the amount of "baby gear" held in our apartment. Instead of owning a swing, bouncer, AND white noise machine- the Mamaroo is capable of all three! It has been a great multi-use item that takes up little space, and can be used for newborns (with recommended newborn insert) up to 25lbs. You can even recline the Mamaroo for little ones or choose the upright position for older babes! I haven't use the bluetooth capability, but you are also able to change settings, speed, and volume via your phone with minimal set-up required.

4. Monica+Andy- Coming Home Blanket

Monica+Andy started right here in Chicago, and is now growing like wildfire due to their adorable children's clothes, blankets, and accessories. I LOVE their limited-time patterns, minimalistic style, and the fact that all of their products are made with 100% organic cotton. Not only is their fabric amazingly soft, but also safe for your littles! The Coming Home Blanket (in Jet Set print) is hands-down my favorite Monica+Andy item. This blanket has served as Oliver's must-have nighttime snuggle prop, impromptu changing station, carseat blanket, burp cloth, nursing cover... you name it!

5. Jaq Jaq Bird- Doodle It & Go Chalk Book

I love the look of chalkboard art, but the mess is enough to drive me crazy. Moms of doodling little ones... this is definitely for you! Jaq Jaq Bird has created a "no dust, no stain, no mess" chalk for playtime. Use this chalk on their Doodle It & Go Book made for little hands, table runner for fun events or group play, and many more options found on their website. An added bonus is that your child won't waste paper time and time again due to their books being reusable!
