Dr. Tom Williams
Dr. Tom is the principled chiropractor behind Roots Family Chiropractic. Dr. Tom is a hard-working and certain chiropractor that has a strong belief system built on providing neurologically based chiropractic care to individuals of all ages. Specifically, he is passionate about providing chiropractic care to the pediatric population, and aims to continue care within the family system and throughout the entire lifespan.
Dr. Tom graduated in 2012 from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He then continued his studies by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, also in Davenport, IA, where he graduated in October 2015 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Tom’s compassionate nature specifically shown in March of 2015 as he participated in a two-week long study abroad trip to the island of Bequia, where he spread chiropractic care to underprivileged children and parents. Coinciding with his doctoral degree at Palmer, Dr. Tom has spent over 500 hours mastering the skills in two specific outside of the classroom models: Epic Pediatrics and Torque Release Technique. He is also currently working towards the pediatric certification, CACCP, through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to continue to gain expertise in his population of interest.
Lauren Williams, Office Manager
Lauren Williams is not only a supportive wife to Dr. Tom, but also a key employee and the office manager for Roots Family Chiropractic. Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Ambrose University in 2012. She then expanded her studies by obtaining her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree in 2014.
Although successful as an occupational therapist in some of the most prestigious clinical settings in America, Lauren's true passion centers on living a natural and holistic life. Specifically, Lauren holds a strong passion in expanding knowledge on the topics of pregnancy, natural birthing, and the world of breastfeeding. Lauren is an integral part of Roots Family Chiropractic by her ability to speak from her own experiences to help practice members feel more at ease and excited to step into the world of chiropractic care!
