What is a Chiropractic Adjustment & Why Is It So Powerful

Wow! People think some crazy things about what a chiropractic adjustment does. Let’s clear up those myths.

Adjustments are performed using the hands or a small tool to apply a painless and precise movement to the spine.

It's done to restore normal alignment and balance. Pain relief is an added benefit of the adjustment, as well as improved sleep, stress levels, anxiety, digestive function — pretty much everything!

Pain is often caused by misaligned or compressed vertebrae in our spine. When they're out of place, it can lead to daily pain that doesn't always go away with over-the-counter medication like Advil or Tylenol.

All we're doing is realigning the spine to allow clear communication between the brain and the nervous system.

The nervous system runs through our spine and is connected to everything in the body, which helps the brain control everything we do and feel.

When the spine is misaligned, the brain can't communicate and we end up with some problems like daily pain, headaches, lack of sleep, stress, anxiety, digestive issues, and so much more.

Adjustments can restore communication, allowing the body to respond to life on a physical, chemical, and emotional level.

Adjustments allow the brain to communicate with the body so that the body can take care of itself.

If you've been to the doctor for pain or other health issues, they might have given you meds like Advil or Tylenol. Pain relief is just one of many benefits chiropractic adjustments can provide.

A lot has changed over time and now it's not uncommon for people who use holistic therapies to also see a chiropractor because they know that these two modalities work beautifully together as part of an overall healing plan, and I've even seen clients do amazing after following this protocol! That's why I'm so passionate about educating others on how powerful adjusting can be when done properly by someone with knowledge and expertise in the field.
