How to achieve goals with less stress!

BE WILLING

Let’s start with the basics - are you actually willing to make a change? If you aren't fully willing, change is either unlikely to occur or not occur as vastly as you would like. The first step is all about being honest with yourself!

ACTION STEPS:
Use today to reflect and brainstorm what you are actually willing to change in your life, in your health, for your family or for yourself. REMEMBER: NO CHANGE IS TOO SMALL. Change is change and most change is good!

PLAN AHEAD

Congrats! You set a goal and decided that you are willing to make the change. In order to be successful in achieving goals, planning ahead is key! This allows you to feel confident and know exactly which direction you are headed. It also allows you to tweak your plan without utter chaos!

ACTION STEPS:
- Use Sunday as a meal prep day or meal planning day
- Plan out your work week the night before, or better yet,
the week before!
- Sign up for your fitness classes the week before and
actually put them in your calendar for accountability
- Check in as a family each night before bed to see how you can support each other in achieving your goals

USE THE RIGHT TOOLS

It is important to note the word "right." Not every tool is useful or pertinent to your goal. Tools are very individualized - but are very important for organization and efficiency!

ACTION STEPS:
- Utilize a planner - we highly recommend Passion Planner for goal setting
- Hire a babysitter for a few hours a week so you can get things done uninterrupted
- Do you have an accountability partner? This is a super valuable tool
- Seek out books or podcasts that resonate to your inspirational/motivational style
- Learn the balance between achieving your goals and resting - this a tool that is highly underrated in our opinion

CREATE A SPACE

When working towards your goals... environment can be everything.  Our team works best in a variety of environments - ones that must be clean and quiet, others that are music-filled, and some that involve a more collaborate approach.
