Kid's Charcuterie Board: Simple Way to Incorporate Your Child in Healthy Choices!

Learning how to make healthy food options starts in the home. There is so much value in creating a home environment that nurtures and guides our children, but also gives them a safe sense of freedom to explore their food. One of our favorite ways to incorporate our son into making healthy eating choices is through finger foods - especially kid charcuterie boards!

Kid charcuterie boards are a great lunch or snack option, have little clean up and are so much fun to make together. You will be amazed to see how proud your child will be and the new foods they will try when they are:

  1. Incorporated in picking out what goes on the board

  2. Given choices for each category (instead of told exactly what to have): “Would you like grapes or apples?”

  3. Provided food that is colorful, finger-food friendly and easily able to eat, dip and enjoy

IDEAS:

  • Raw veggies

  • Cut up fruit

  • Dipping options

    • hummus, nut butters, guacamole, etc

  • Crunchy snacks
